If your contacts live in a spreadsheet or another CRM, bring them in all at once instead of adding them one by one.
1

Export your contacts as a CSV

From your current CRM or spreadsheet, export to CSV. In Google Sheets that is File > Download > Comma Separated Values (.csv). In Excel it is File > Save As and choosing CSV.
2

Go to Settings > Import & Export Contacts

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then Settings, then Import & Export Contacts.
3

Choose your file

Select the CSV from your computer.
4

Match your columns to CRE Fuel fields

CRE Fuel reads your headings and asks what each column is. Match your “Cell” column to Phone, your “Company” column to Company, and so on.If a column has no matching field, you can create one on the spot by naming it. Anything you do not want, you can leave unmapped.
5

Import

CRE Fuel creates the contacts and tells you how many landed.
CSV only. CRE Fuel does not read .xlsx Excel files directly. If your list is in Excel, save it as CSV first. It is one extra step and it takes a few seconds.
Include a phone number wherever you have one. CRE Fuel matches people on phone number, so a row with a phone will correctly update someone who is already in your list instead of creating a second copy of them.
Contacts are matched on phone number, so importing the same file again updates the same people rather than duplicating them. Rows with no phone number cannot be matched that way and may create a second record. If duplicates do appear, go to Contacts > Duplicates, where CRE Fuel groups likely matches so you can merge them.
Yes. If your list is large or messy, ask about the white-glove import rather than fighting the spreadsheet. Use Get help in your profile menu.
