A cadence is a series of touches scheduled over time. You decide the type of touch (call, text, or email), the delay between steps, and the message template for each step. Once you assign a cadence to a contact, CRE Fuel reminds you when each step is due. No contact falls through the cracks.

Creating a Cadence

1

Go to Calling > Cadences

Click Calling in the left sidebar, then click Cadences in the submenu.
2

Click New Cadence

Click the New Cadence button in the top right corner.
3

Name your cadence

Type a clear name in the Cadence Name field. Use something you will recognize later, like “New Buyer Outreach” or “Cold Owner Follow-Up.”
4

Add your steps

Click Add Step to create the first touch. For each step, set three things:
  • Type - choose Call, Text, or Email
  • Delay - set how many days after the previous step this touch should happen
  • Template - choose a saved message template or write one now
Repeat until all your steps are added.
5

Click Save

Click Save. Your cadence is ready to assign to contacts.
Start simple. A 3-step cadence covers most situations: a call on Day 1, a text on Day 3, and a second call on Day 7. You can always add more steps later.

Assigning a Cadence to a Contact

You can pause or cancel a cadence at any time by returning to the contact record and clicking Manage Cadence.
