A cadence is how often you call a tag. Tag a contact as a hot seller and they go on a two-day clock. Log the call and the clock resets. When they come due again, they show up on your call list.
This is already on. You do not build a cadence, assign it, or start it. Cadences ship switched on with sensible spacing, and tagging a contact is the only action you take.

What ships turned on

Hot Seller · every 2 days

Ready to sell now or within about six months. No email campaign. You call these constantly.

12-Month Seller · every 30 days

Might sell within the next year or two. Also on the 12-month email campaign, so calls stay light.

10-Year Seller · every 120 days

Does not want to sell. A long, light touch so you are top of mind whenever that changes.

How it actually works

1

You tag the contact

Add seller-hot, seller-12-mo, or seller-10-yr to a contact. That is the whole setup.
2

The clock starts

CRE Fuel tracks when you last spoke to them and counts forward by that tag’s spacing.
3

They surface when due

Once they pass their interval, they appear on your call list to be worked.
4

Logging the call resets it

Log the call and the clock starts again from that day. There is nothing to tick off and nothing to reschedule.
If a contact carries more than one of these tags, the most urgent one wins. Someone tagged both hot and 12-month is treated as hot, so you never under-call a live seller because of a leftover tag.

Changing the spacing

The numbers are defaults, not rules. If you work a hot seller every day rather than every second day, change it.
1

Open the settings

Go to Settings → Phone → Follow-up Cadences.
2

Adjust the interval

Change the number of days for any cadence to match how you actually work.
Setting an interval to zero turns that cadence off. Contacts with that tag will stop surfacing on your call list.

Cadences are calls, campaigns are email

Two different systems, easy to confuse:
  • Cadences decide how often a tagged contact comes back around for you to call.
  • Campaigns send the email and text follow-up automatically. See Nurture campaigns.
A 12-month seller is on both: the campaign keeps in touch in writing, and the cadence brings them back to your call list every 30 days.
