If you have a contact list sitting in Excel or Google Sheets, you can bring the whole thing into CRE Fuel in a few minutes. No copy-pasting required.
Save your spreadsheet as a CSV file before importing. Go to File > Download > CSV in Google Sheets, or File > Save As > CSV in Excel. CSV files import more reliably than .xlsx files.

Required Columns

Your file must include at least these two things:
  • Name (first and last name, or a combined full name column)
  • Phone or Email (at least one of the two)
All other columns like Company, Property Type, Tags, and Notes are optional but recommended.

Import Your Contacts

1

Go to Contacts

Click Contacts in the left sidebar.
2

Open Import

Click Import near the top of the Contacts page.
3

Upload your file

Click Choose File and select your CSV file. CRE Fuel reads the file and shows you a column mapping screen.
4

Map your columns

For each column in your spreadsheet, use the dropdown to select the matching CRE Fuel field. For example, map your “Full Name” column to the Name field. Skip any columns you don’t need.
5

Preview the import

CRE Fuel shows a preview of the first few rows. Confirm the data looks correct before continuing.
6

Click Import

Click the Import button. CRE Fuel loads your contacts and shows a summary when finished.
CRE Fuel checks each incoming row against your existing contacts. If a row is an exact match on phone number or email address, CRE Fuel skips it so you don’t end up with duplicates. If a row is a close but not exact match, CRE Fuel flags it for your review. You’ll see those flagged records in the Duplicates tab after the import finishes.
