Duplicate contacts clutter your list, skew your call counts, and cause confusion when you’re working fast. CRE Fuel automatically finds likely duplicates so you can clean them up in minutes.
CRE Fuel finds duplicates by matching phone number or email address. If two records share either one, they appear as a suggested match for you to review.

Merge Duplicate Contacts

1

Go to Contacts

Click Contacts in the left sidebar.
2

Open Duplicates

Click Duplicates near the top of the Contacts page. CRE Fuel shows a list of suggested duplicate pairs.
3

Review the match

Click on a pair to see both records side by side. Check the names, notes, and tags to confirm they are the same person.
4

Merge or Dismiss

Click Merge to combine the two records into one. Click Dismiss if the records are actually different people and should stay separate.
Merging is not reversible. Once you click Merge, the two records become one and the duplicate is permanently deleted. Review both records carefully before you confirm.

What Happens When You Merge

When you merge two contacts, CRE Fuel keeps the most complete information from both records. Notes, tags, and activity history are combined into the surviving record.
