# Send Email and Text Blasts to Your Contacts in CRE Fuel

> Send a one-time email or text blast to a group of contacts in minutes. Reach the right people fast without touching each record one by one.

Blasts let you send a single message to a group of contacts all at once. Use them for market updates, new listings, price reductions, or any time you need to reach a crowd quickly. CRE Fuel handles delivery and compliance automatically.

## Send an Email Blast

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the New Blast form">
    Go to **Marketing** in the left sidebar, then click **New Blast**.

  <Step title="Choose Email">
    Select **Email** as the blast type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick your audience">
    Choose a saved audience or select a tag from the **Audience** dropdown. Everyone in that group will receive the message.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write your message">
    Enter a **Subject** line, then write your email body in the editor below. Keep the subject under 60 characters so it displays fully in most inboxes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send or schedule">
    Click **Send** to deliver immediately, or click **Schedule** to pick a future date and time.

  Add the merge tag **{first_name}** anywhere in your subject or body. CRE Fuel replaces it with each contact's first name automatically. Personalized messages get noticeably higher response rates.

  CRE Fuel automatically appends an unsubscribe link to every email blast. Contacts who click it are removed from future emails so you stay compliant without any extra work.

## Send a Text Blast

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the New Blast form">
    Go to **Marketing** in the left sidebar, then click **New Blast**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Text">
    Select **Text** as the blast type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick your audience">
    Choose a saved audience from the **Audience** dropdown. Only contacts with a mobile number on file will receive the message.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write your message">
    Type your message in the text field. Stay under 160 characters to send as a single SMS and avoid split messages.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send">
    Click **Send** to deliver immediately.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  Text blasts only go to contacts who have a mobile phone number saved on their contact record. If a contact is missing that field, they will be skipped. Check your audience size before sending to spot any gaps.

  CRE Fuel automatically appends STOP opt-out instructions to every text blast. Contacts who reply STOP are unsubscribed from future texts right away.
