# Move Your Deals Through Pipeline Stages in CRE Fuel

> Keep your CRE Fuel pipeline accurate by updating deal stages after each conversation, meeting, or milestone so nothing slips through the cracks.

Your pipeline is only useful if the stages are current. Every time something meaningful happens on a deal, move the stage forward. It takes about five seconds and keeps your scorecard and forecast accurate.

## Default pipeline stages

CRE Fuel comes with six default stages. Every deal in every pipeline starts at Prospect and works toward Closed.

| Stage | What it means |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Prospect** | You have identified the lead but have not reached out yet |
| **Outreach** | You have made contact or left a message |
| **Meeting** | A meeting or site tour is scheduled or has happened |
| **Proposal** | You have sent a proposal, LOI, or listing agreement |
| **Under Contract** | Both parties have signed and the deal is in process |
| **Closed** | The transaction is complete |
